Jul 14, 2017

Are you sick of renting a home or apartment in Whitehouse? Are you putting up with subpar rentals because there is no affordable way to own a home? Are you renting near Tyler, Whitehouse, Flint, and Lindale, etc, because you think owning a home is just too expensive? We at Forest Hollow, we provide an extremely easy way for you to become a homeowner!

Forest Hollow Estates is a mobile home park (manufactured housing community) located in downtown of Whitehouse, TX. If you haven't heard of Whitehouse, TX, you should check it out. It is a quiet community just off highway 110 on the Main Street. Whitehouse is a clean, quiet and a friendly town on the south side of Tyler.

We are have started an affordable homeownership program for our mobile homes. In our community, we can rent a newly renovated mobile home with monthly rent that is close to and lower than a lot of apartment rent in the area. The portion of the rent goes to build your credit. After you collect enough credit, you can use it to purchase a home in the park. It typically takes 5 to 7 years to build a credit for a home.

When you rent, you don't have anything to show for at the end of the lease. You haven't saved any money. You start all over in a different place. With our program, the longer you stay, the more credit you build. After 5 to 7 years, the home can be yours. Afterwards, you just pay for lot rent (which is much cheaper than regular rent) and utilities.

Why do we provide this program? It's because it is win-win. Being a homeonwer has obvious benefits. It's better for bottom line because you are saving on having to pay high rent. You also feel more stable when you have your own place. Homeownership also benefits the community greatly. By bringing in people like yourself who is interested in being a homeowner, we improve the community. Homeowners are invested in the community. They have pride of ownership and care much more about the community than renters. At the end, running a community is all about making better homes.
